(재)삼성꿈장학재단 글로벌 희망장학금 안내
삼성꿈장학재단은 개발도상국에서 우리나라로 유학 온 우수한 대학생/대학원생들을 <글로벌 희망장학생>로 선발하여 지원하고 있습니다.
1. 지원자격 - DAC 수원국 명단에 있는 개발도상국 출신자 - 가정 경제상황이 어려운 자 - 학업성적이 우수한 자 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 3급 이상인 자 봉사활동을 포함한 사회기여 의지가 있는 자 - 고국과 한국의 가교역할을 할 수 있는 자 재단이 주최하는 각종 교육에 적극적으로 참여할 자 ※ 정부초청 외국인 장학생 학위과정(GKS) 대상인 자는 신청 불가
2. 선정기준 - 장학금 필요도 (경제적 상황) - 학업(연구) 수행능력(성적, 수상경력, 연구계획 등) - 어학 준비도(한국어 혹은 영어 말하기 및 글쓰기) - 한국 대학(원) 진학동기 및 전공선택의 타당성 - 학업계획의 구체성 및 수행의지 - 진로계획의 구체성 - 사회봉사 경험 및 졸업후의 사회기여 의지
3. 장학금액 학부생: 학기당 390만 원 대학원생: 학기당 350만 원 혹은 500만 원
4. 지원기간 - 학부생: 최대 8학기 - 대학원생: 석사과정은 최대 4학기, 박사과정은 최대 6학기, 석박통합과정은 최대 8학기
** 초과학기는 지원하지 않음.
5. 접수기간 - 2023.12.26.(화) ~ 2023.01.12.(금)

Global Hope Scholarship Program supports international students in Korea from developing countries become future leaders who can aid the development of their home countries, community, etc. Please read the following information.
1. Recommendation of our partner universities
Applicants should be recommended by our partnering universities. Only students who have been admitted or are currently enrolled can get recommendations from each university. We limit the number of scholars from a particular country at each school for the sake of diversity.
2. Qualifications for applying
- Students from nationality of a country in the DAC List of ODA Recipients - Students experiencing financial difficulties for study - Students who have proven academic excellence including language proficiency ** At least TOPIK Level 3 required for all applicants - Students who＇re willing to join volunteer activities and social contribution. - Students who have a high probability of returning to their home country and supporting its development - Those who get scholarship from GKS(Global Korea Scholarship Program) cannot apply Global Hope Scholarship Program.
3. Contents of support
- Undergraduate level: KW 3,900,000 per semester - Graduate level: KW 3,500,000 or KW 5,000,000 per semester 4. Period of support
- Undergraduate: maximum 8 academic semesters - Master course: maximum 4 academic semesters - Doctoral course: maximum 6 academic semesters - Combined Master’s and Doctorate: maximum 8 academic semesters ** Extra semesters are not supported.

Process of Selection and Operation schedule - Document assessment result announcement: Feb.6th, 2024 - Face to face interview: Feb. 19th ~ Feb. 20th, 2024 (Place: Foundation’s office, nearby Seoul Station) - Final selection result announcement: Feb. 27th, 2024 - Payment of scholarship grants: the middle of March, 2024
