안녕하세요. 한국외국어대학교 국제학생지원팀입니다.

모두 잘 지내고 있는지요? 합격자 발표를 한 지 얼마 안 된 거

같은데 벌써 다음 주에 개강합니다.

그리고 이번 주 목요일에는 오리엔테이션이 있는데, 오리엔테이션에

앞서 중요한 안내사항들이 있어 알려드립니다.

1. 신입생 오리엔테이션

   가. 일시 : 2018. 08. 30(목) 13:30

   나. 장소 : 서울캠퍼스 사이버대학 건물 2층 대강당

* 서울 & 글로벌 캠퍼스 입학생 모두 참가

   다. 글로벌 캠퍼스 입학생 대상 추가 오리엔테이션

       -일시: 2018. 08. 31(금) 16:00

       -장소 : 글로벌캠퍼스 백년관 209호

2. 입학(개강)일자 : 2018. 09. 03(월)

3. 기숙사 입사 가능일 : 2018. 08. 29(수) 2018.8.29~12.22

* 기숙사 취소 신청은 2018. 08. 30.(목) 12:00 까지

* 결핵검사 확인서를 미제출할 경우 입실이 불가능하니 입실 전 반드시

   결핵검사확인서를 기숙사 운영팀에 제출하시기 바랍니다. 국내 보건소

   또는 해외 보건소에서 받은 결핵검사확인서를 제출할 수 있습니다.

4. 2018학년도 신입생 비자 관련 안내 사항

합격한 여러분들 중 현재 외국에 있는 학생의 경우 D2(유학생)비자를

신청해야하고 한국에 오면 외국인 등록증을 신청해야 합니다.

현재 한국에 있고 D4 또는 다른 비자가 있는 경우 학기가 시작하기

전에 D2(유학생)비자로 변경(변경접수 신청)을 해야 합니다.

우리 학교에서는 신입생들의 출입국사무소 비자업무(외국인등록증 신청,

비자변경 및 연장)에 대해 출입국 사무소를 대신 방문하는 서비스를 시행하고 있습니다.

국가 공인 행정사가 격주 화요일(오후 2시부터 5시까지) 우리

학교에서 외국인 유학생들의 외국인 등록, 비자 연장 및 변경

관련 업무를 상담 및 처리하고 있습니다.

   대행 서비스에 관한 자세한 내용은 첨부파일을 확인하시고,

해당 업무에 필요한 서류들(*본 홈페이지 Student life -> Visa & Immigration에서도

확인 가능, http://international.hufs.ac.kr)을 준비하여 사무실로 방문 바랍니다.

5. 입학포기자 안내

등록한 여러분들 중 비자발급 거절 또는 개인적인 이유로

입학을 포기하는 학생은 2018년 8월 29일(수)까지 ‘입학포기원서’를

제출해주시기 바랍니다. ‘입학포기원서’를 2018년 8월 29일까지

제출하지 않을 경우 등록금 환불이 불가능할 수도 있습니다.

Also, Orientation will be held this Thursday.

Below are important notices regarding Orientation,

Dormitory, Visa and Cancellation of Registration

1. New Student Orientation

   A. Date: 1:30 pm, August 30, 2018 (Thur)

   B. Location: Auditorium, Cyber Building, Seoul Campus

     * All new students (including Global Campus students)

       are required to attend orientation.

   C. Additional Orientation for Global Campus new students

     * Date : 4:00 pm, August 31, 2018 (Fri)

     * Location: room 208, Centennial Complex(Main Building)

2. First day of classes [Date Change] : September, 3rd (Mon)

3. Dorm check-in : August 29 (Thu)

     * If you want to cancel the dorm application, please send

       email to globalhufs@gmail.com before 30.08.2018 12:00pm.

     * All successful dorm applicants are required to submit proof

       of an authorized health examination results(including chest X-ray)

       to the dormitory office before checking-in. You can submit

       health examination results taken from any public health center

       in Korea or your home country.

4. About VISA

a) A student living abroad, must apply for

   D-2(International Student) visa and Alien Registration Card

   after entering Korea.

b) A student living in Korea, must apply for changing to

   D-2(International Student) visa before the semester starts.

HUFS OISS invites government certified officer to help our students with visa:

(1)application for the alien card, (2)visa change or visa extension.

The officer will be in the office every Tuesday from

5. For students giving up their admission

If you have registered for the school but have to give up

your admission due to visa denial or personal reasons, please

complete a form for giving up admission and return it by Wednesday,

August 29th, 2018. If you don’t do so by the deadline,

your tuition may not be refunded.

1. 迎新会时间

2. 开学(개강)日期 : 2018. 09. 03(周一)

3. 宿舍入住: 2018. 08. 29(周三)开始可以办理入住, 期间为2018.8.29~12.22日截止

* 宿舍取消申请一定要在2018. 08. 30.(周四) 12:00点之前通过邮件globalhufs@gmail.com申请

* 办理校内宿舍入住时必须要提交肺结核检查书（复印件也可，但需要有英文备注）

4. 新生签证事项

* 在海外申请的D-2护照签证，入境韩国后，需要申请办理外国人登陆证.

* 现在在韩国境内持有D-4签证或其他短期签证的学生必须要在开学前办理D-2签证变更，

* 学校每周二（下午2点-5点）在教授会馆一层会有国家公认行政师代办出入境业务。

5. 申请放弃入学

缴纳学费后，因为被拒签等其他个人原因导致无法顺利入学的学生，需要2018年8月 29日(周三)截止前，填写‘放弃入学申请书’并发送给我处，在规定截止日后追加递交的学生将不能收到全额学费.
