[ Looking for Korean learners (KRW 20,000 for ~90 min experiment) ]
 
Hello everyone,

I am a PhD student at UH Linguistics and currently recruiting participants for my research on the listening skills of non-native Korean speakers. I am seeking individuals who are willing to complete one listening activity in Korean and two questionnaires for approximately 1.5 hours online.

As a token of appreciation for your participation, all eligible participants will receive compensation in the form of a USD 15 (KRW 20,000) gift card for Starbucks or Amazon.

You are eligible to participate if:
  • Your native language is either English or Japanese.
  • You should be at an intermediate or higher proficiency level in Korean (i.e., you have either completed the first year of Korean or above, or you could be placed into one of these courses).
  • You will need a device (laptop or mobile) with working earphones, or you must be able to participate in a quiet place since the experiment involves audio.
  • For the final fill-in-the-blank activity, you may require a Korean keyboard, or at the very least, you should be in an environment where you can type your responses in Korean.
