□ 주제 : 암베드까르 박사 탄생 125주년 기념: 암베드까르와 인도 사회

□ 사단법인 한국인도학회는 오는 12월 10일 (토) 오후 1시 30분부터 6시까지 한국외국어대학교 서울캠퍼스 교수회관 2층 강의실에서 제 41차 한국인도학회 정기학술대회를 개최합니다. 한국외국어대학교 인도연구소와 부산외국어대학교 인도언어문화연구소가 공동 주최하며 주한인도대사관의 후원으로 이루어지는 이번 학술대회의 주제는 “암베드까르 박사 탄생 125주년 기념: 암베드까르와 인도 사회”입니다.

□ 먼저 이번 학술대회는 임근동 학회장의 개회사를 비롯하여, 주한인도대사관 비끄람 도레스와미 대사의 환영사 그리고 감사패 전달식으로 시작될 예정입니다.

□ 이어서 본 학술대회는 크게 세 패널로 나뉘어 전문가들의 토론과 발표가 진행될 것입니다. 첫 번째 세션에서는 암베드까르 박사 탄생 125주년 기념을 주제로 ‘암베드까르와 인도헌법’, ‘네팔의 연방제 전환과 정체성의 정치’, 그리고 ‘인도 달리뜨 의식 운동의 부활’ 등의 세부 주제 발표와 토론이 진행됩니다.

□ 두 번째 세션은 패널2와 패널3으로 나뉘어 동시에 진행됩니다. 패널2에서는 인도 기업과 사회이라는 주제로 ‘인도기업의 경영자와 사회적책임에 관한 연구’, ‘인도 외국인직접투자의 투자국 우성패턴분석’이라는 세부 주제로 연구발표와 토론이 진행됩니다.

□ 패널3에서는 요가와 수행의 전통이라는 주제로 ‘요가경의 인식론과 요가행자의 인식 대상’, ‘수행의 논리와 증명의 논리’ 의 연구로 전문가들의 발표와 토론이 진행됩니다.

□ 세션 후에는 2016년도 학회 및 회계 보고, 감사결과 보고, 신임학회장 선출 등을 위한 총회가 개최되며, 참가자들을 위한 만찬이 준비됩니다.

□ The Korean Society for Indian Studies (KSIS) will hold its 41st Regular Conference on December 10, 2016, in the Seminar Room and Lecture Room, Faculty Bldg, HUFS, Seoul from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

□ The program will begin with an opening speech from the president of KSIS, Professor Lim Geun-dong. The congratulatory speech will be delivered by His Excellency, Ambassador of India to Korea Mr. Vikram Doraiswami.

□ The conference will include three sessions with invited professionals and scholars from various fields. The first session, the theme of which is “Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in Indian History and Society” will involve three presentations: “Ambedkar and the Indian Constitution”, “Federalism and Politics of Identity in Nepal”, and “Resurgence of Dalit Consciousness Movement in India: A Tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar”.

□ The second session will involve two panels “Corporations and Society of India” in the Seminar Room and “Yoga and Asceticism” in the Lecture Room. The First panel will cover two topics: “CEO and CSR performance: Evidence from Indian Firms”, and “Home countries Dominance Pattern of FDI Inflows in India”.

□ The third panel, under the theme of “Yoga and Asceticism”, will invite two speakers: “The Epistemology of the Yoga Sutra and the Epistemological Object of the yogi”, and “The Logic of Asceticism and the Logic of attestation”.

□ After the session, a general meeting will be held for agendas of the 2016 academic year, accounting reports, audit report, and election of a new president. A reception will be prepared for all participants.
