The Spring 2014 Admission Application(Regular Decision) to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is currently open. Please note that foreign students whose parents (BOTH) are not citizens of Korea can only apply for international admission to HUFS. If you are an overseas Korean or Korean with dual citizenship, please contact our admission office. (http://adms.hufs.ac.kr)

 

To apply for International Admission to HUFS for the Spring 2014, please refer to the information below;

 

1. Important Dates

   A. Application Period: October 7, 2013 ~ December 6, 2013

   B. Paper Submission Deadline:  December 13, 2013

   C. Announcement on Paper Evaluation results: January 8, 2014

   D. Interview & Korean Language Proficiency Test: January 17, 2014

   E. Final Announcement on Admission results: January 24, 2014

 

2. How to apply 

    A. Online Application through uwayapply.com (You need to have a account)  > GO

    B. Paper Application (Download all application forms and mail them to us) > GO

       

3. Majors/Departments : http://international.hufs.ac.kr > Admissions > Undergraduate Majors

    Please be advised that Korean Studies has been newly added to our faculty from 2014 Spring!!

4. Language Requirements:

    A. Majors where Korean is the medium of instruction : TOPIK lvl 3 or above (Transfer students - lvl 4 or above)

        -> All majors offered in the Global Campus, All majors in Seoul campus except the below-listed majors in B. 

    B. Majors where English is the medium of instruction: TOEFL 550 or above, IELTS 6.0 or above

         -> Division of International Studies: English language proficiency score should be mandatorily submitted. 

         -> College of English, College of Global Business Administration and Department of International Trade & Law: If applicants are holing a TOPIK certificate without any English proficiency test score, TOPIK certificates will be accepted.

   * From 2014 Spring, we will provide full scholarships (2, 4 years or housing scholarship) for highly qualfied international students with excellent academic merits
