◎ Eligibility

(1) Freshman Admission

Applicants	Qualification	Academic Requirements
International Applicants	An applicant has non-Korean nationality with both parents also having non-Korean nationality	Completed primary and secondary schools either in or outside Korea.

 

(2) Transfer Admission

Class	University Enrollment (Graduation)	Course Fulfillment
Sophomore	2- or 3-year college graduate or At least 1-year enrollment in 4-year university	Junior college degree or Completed successfully at least 1/4 of curriculum
Junior	2- or 3-year college graduate or At least 2-year enrollment in 4-year university	Junior college degree or Completed successfully at least 1/2 of curriculum

Printouts of the system-generated application forms

2. Qualification Assessment Application Form *
3. Academic Records and Consent to Verify Previous School Attendance Records *

4. Financial certification

5. Korean Immigration Entry and Exit Verification Consent Form

7. Personal statement and study plan
8. Letter of Recommendation from your teacher/professor

Other Original Documents to be prepared

9. Official High School Transcript and Graduation Certificate (Notarized either in Korean or English)
10. Official Transcript of academic records, and Certificate of Current Enrollment in a university or College Diploma

* Notarized either in Korean or English, Transfer students only
11. Copy of the applicant's passport
12. Copies of both parents' passports (or official documents indicating parents' nationality)

13. Official document indicating parent-child relationship between the applicant and his / her parents

14. Official Certificate of Proficiency in Korean Language
* TOPIK level 3 or higher (Frehsman applicants) / TOPIK level 4 or higher (Transfer applicants)
* Certificate of Completion of Level 4 or higher from a Korean language institution in a Korean university

* Students without Official Certificate of Proficiency in Korean Language will be taking Korean Progiciency test conducted by Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

(2) Supplemental

1. A copy of the applicant’s Alien Registration Card

* Current foreign residents in Korea only

2. Official Certificate of proficiency in English (TOEFL)
3. Others (record of awards, certificate of qualification, document relating academic proficiency etc.)

4. Proof of Application Fee Payment Deposit

◎ Tuition as of 2013 Academic Year

- Tuition Fee per semester: KRW 3,370,000 ~ KRW 4,222,000

- Admission Fee: KRW 1,007,000

◎ Scholarship Programs available for International Students

Freshman Scholarship A	Top 5% 1st Semester Tuition Fee TOPIK level 4 or above
Freshman Scholarship B	Top 10% Entrance Fee TOPIK level 4 or above
Merit Scholarship	50 students per semester KRW 1 mil ~ 1.5 mil Previous semester GPA 3.0 or higher
