10:00 ~ 12:00 p.m. Korean Placement Test

 - Location: Ae-Kyung Hall, International Building

 - This placement test is only for students who will take our Intensive Korean Language program starting from September 03, 2012

 

New Student Orientation – August 31, 2012 (Friday)

 

 

12:30 ~ 13:30 p.m. LUNCH

- Location: HUFS Faculty Cafeteria, 2^nd Floor of HUFS Faculty Building

- Meals will be provided for free. Our staff members will give a meal ticket at the cafeteria entrance

 

13:30 ~ 14:00 p.m. Pick up your ID card & immigration paper

 - Location: Ae-Kyung Hall, International Building

 

14:00 ~ 14:20 p.m. Welcome to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

 - Location: Ae-Kyung Hall, International Building

 - Introduction Session/ Staff Members @OISS, HUFS & ISO Video

 

14:20 ~ 14:50 p.m. Programs, Housing & International Student Services

 - Location: Ae-Kyung Hall, International Building

 - Exchange / Visiting Program in general, Dorm Life, Immigration Info, Scholarships, and more

 

14:50 ~ 15:20 p.m. Course Registration Information

 - Location: Ae-Kyung Hall, International Building

 - Academic Schedules (Undergraduate / Korean Language Program), Course registration Info.   

  Student will have their academic advising session following this orientation by groups.

 

15:20 ~ 15:40 p.m. International Student Organization (ISO)

 - Location: Ae-Kyung Hall, International Building

 - Student Services, Cultural Activities & Field Trips

 

15:40 ~ 17:00 p.m. Campus Tour & Academic Advising

 - Location: HUFS Seoul Campus

 - By groups / guided by ISO students / Major buildings, Cafeterias, Computer labs

Academic Advising Session

This session will be held in Korean, English, Spanish, French and Japanese.
