At the fall semester , 2012, I successfully applied for study at Shanghai Academy of Social Science by the 3+1 dispatch program of Graduate School of Internationaland Area Studies.

As a Chinese, the reason why I learn Chinese economy at GSIAS is that I want to observe China by from different perspectives in foreign countries so that I can have more objective and more diversified understanding of Chinese economy. I return to China for study because I hope to expand my professional knowledge by combining with the practical situation of China more visually.

Shanghai Academy of Social Science is a school with strong speciality and technicality. While studying at the school, I learned three courses, i.e., Utensil Culture in Ancient China, Chinese Economy and Society and Chinese Industrial Economy. In doing so, I not only had more comprehensive comprehension of Chinese history and implement culture but also learned the industrial economy of China profoundly. A number of free materials at the library of the school, which I could not access at other places, provided much help for my study. In addition, numerous abundant activities at the school also made me reap no little benefit.

Compared with other students, I am lucky enough because Chinese is my mother tongue. Thus, my life, especially my study in China, was much easier than that of students whose mother tongue was not Chinese. Consequently, I cherished this opportunities very much.
