Good evening everyone! It's a great honor to have this opportunity to speak here, in front of everyone.

To be completely honest, in the beginning, I was not very interested in taking this course. I was already working at the kindergarten, and I was not sure that I could work and study at the same time.

Actually, my sister asked me to join her. I think her real reason for asking me was that she wanted a DRIVER who could take her home after class! However, now I can say "Thank you, my sister. You gave me a chance to have this valuable experience."

After having an interview and noticing that I got the ticket for this journey, I was so excited. But, when I first saw my books for the classes, I was like... 'What??!!'.  I didn't know what to do with those tiny letters!

The memories of studying at university 10 years ago kept popping up in my head!

Then, I met my amazing professors: Jeanne, Kyle, Todd, Edward and Dr. Kim, and my wonderful classmates.

I could FEEL something inside my heart… 'A thrill of learning'!

I would like to take a moment and to express my thanks to them.

Jeanne, she really helped us in many ways. She is a really nice person and the biggest adviser.

Todd, he always tried to cheer us up, kept saying "Come on, it's Friday night."...yeah, it was Friday night 'IN THE CLASSROOM'.  But it was not bad and we loved his sweet voice, too.

Kyle, his class was the most nerve-racking for us. But, he was one of the friendliest people we worked with.

Dr. Kim, we could learn so many things from her. Her class was like a heaven, because we could speak in KOREAN!

Edward, in short, you were THE ANGEL...!

They really brought out the best in each of us. Thank you so much.

And to all of my classmates, we learned how to support each other and work as a team. Thank you for being in my life. You guys were awesome.

Looking back over the past few months, I've changed a lot. I discovered my strengths and my weaknesses in my English teaching. And I realize that the language teachers need to know that they are 'TEACHER's.

I want you to respect how important you are. You are a teacher for others, those that CAN'T and those that NEED you. The most significant lesson I learned from this course is to be a teacher keeps their students curious and be open to new ideas, and to learn from my students as well as teach them.

Now, I look forward to the strength that I've developed here. And I feel very proud to be a part of this TESOL course. I know that we built a strong foundation for the future of our new journey.

In closing, the last thing I want to say to all of you, sitting here. You are THE, and will always BE, the best!

Thank you.
