해외 유명 석학 초청특강 안내

한국외국어대학교 TESOL대학원에서는 매 학기 학생들의 학업 의욕 고취 및 연구력 향상을 위하여 TESOL관련 해외 저명학자를 초청하여 특강을 실시하고 있습니다. 이와 관련하여 2014학년도 1학기 특강을 아래와 같이 개최하오니 관심 있으신 분들의 많은 참석을 바랍니다.

6. 특강주제 : Fluency in EFL Reading Instruction

The aim of this presentation is to encourage teachers to think about the teaching of EFL reading in a new light. I will introduce the concept of fluency as a goal in teaching EFL reading. The recognition of the critical role that fluency plays in good reading has been slow to reach EFL reading researchers and teachers. I will explain its importance and discuss why it should be an integral part of any EFL reading course. I will also provide some strategies and activities to teach reading fluency that the participants will engage in.
