Greetings from J.F. Oberlin University in Tokyo, Japan!

We are excited to announce that the Summer Session 2026 is just around the corner, and this year we’re expanding with additional sessions and new courses. We are especially excited to introduce the Machida Campus as a new optional location for this summer, where our semester exchange students are also based.

Sessions and Schedules
Session 1 : May 16 - May 30
Session 2 : May 30 - June 13
Session 3 : June 13 - June 27*
Session 4 : June 27 - July 11
Session 5 : July 11 - July 25
*For session 3, students will be based at Shinjuku OR Machida Campus depending on the course selected. For the other sessions, students will study at Shinjuku.

What’s New for Summer 2026？
We are offering two new courses on STEM and a comprehensive view of Japan at Machida Campus. Students will deepen their understanding of Japan＇s innovation and technology, as well as its politics, society, economy, and culture. Machida offers a unique, balanced setting: conveniently close to central Tokyo, yet also near popular destinations like Yokohama, Kamakura, and Hakone.

1 Program, 2 Experiences
Students can enjoy the best of both worlds with a dual-campus experience. This gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in both the vibrant urban energy of Shinjuku and the traditional, local atmosphere of Machida, while participating in unique activities exclusive to each campus.
