<국문초록>

본 연구는 색채어가 여러 인지적 특성을 나타낸다는 가정에서 출발한다. 본 연구는 색채어에 내재된 은유와 환유 기재를 도구로 하여 구조화된 스페인어 색채어의 비유적 쓰임에 대해 고찰하고, 또한 색채어를 통한 감정 표현 방식을 분류하고 의식화하기 위한 시도라고 할 수 있다. 감정에 대한 분석은 스페인어 색채어가 포함된 구문, 특히 관용표현에 기초하고 있다. 본 연구는 스페인어 화자들이 감정과 같은 추상적인 개념을 색과 같은 구체적인 개념으로 이해하는 인지 체계를 설명하고, 색채어에 함축된 의미로 외면화된 감정의 특성에 대해 살펴보았는데, 이 색채어들의 대부분은 부정적인 감정 상태를 표현하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 스페인어 색채어 rojo와 negro가 여러 색채어들 중 가장 언어생산성이 높다는 사실도 확인할 수 있었다.

Meaning Formation and Expression of Emotions with Spanish Color Terms

 

The basic assumption of this study is that the color terms show various cognitive properties. The study, adopting color-based metaphors and metonymies, explores the figurative uses of the Spanish color terms. Moreover, an attempt was made to identify the ways to denote emotions through the color terms. The analysis of emotions is based on the expressions containing Spanish color terms and, especially, on the phraseological units. This study attempts to explain cognitive processes by Spanish speakers understand abstract concepts like emotion in terms of concrete concepts like color and defines the properties of emotions represented by means of color terms; the vast majority of these color terms manifests the negative emotional states. And also I found that the Spanish color terms rojo and negro are the colors that are most productively represented in the series of the color terms.
