Ministry of Foreign Affairs, School Renovation Project in Costa Rica, in charge of arrangements, media recording, and painting schools (Aug.2009-May.2010)

I was participating School Renovation Project with the director of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Costa Rica as media recoding and painting. Also, I was taking internship in the institute of international affairs Manuel Maria de Peralta, of the ministry of foreign affairs in Costa Rica. Working with these projects and organizations, I have gained experience organizing events and raising funds, as well as other technical skills, but I have also learned about the value of teamwork and realized that a motivated group of people, with creativity and dedication, can do great things.

I was a PEP (Continuing Education Program) intern who created the facebook page, took pictures, wrote information and articles, and had interviews with local communities, university staffs, and all professors about EARTH.

PEP is an education and experiential learning program at EARTH allowing participants to engage with the university and local communities through a variety of activities inside and outside of EARTH ? including agricultural work, research projects, conferences, ecotourism, language classes, and rural livelihood development projects. The PEP program connects education to social and agricultural development, and provides participants with a unique opportunity learn about and contribute to meaningful rural development.
