The method of applying for leave of absence/return to school has changed as below. International students can apply online for leave of absence or return to school through the Web Information System (refer to Attachment 1).

Certificate of Admission can be applied by submitting the attached form to globalhufs@gmail.com (refer to Attachment 2).

1.How to Apply

※ The application will be approved at once at the end of the application period.

2. Certificate of Admission : Schedule & Issuance

(for Fall 2021)

3. Notice : Leave of Absence

1) You should leave Korea within 2 weeks after the application of leave of absence (due to the cancellation of student visa)

2) After the application of leave of absence, the courses in the list of course registration will be all deleted.

3) You can apply for leave of absence for 1 year at a time.

   (※ available to return to school after 1 semester)

4) You can extend the leave of absence after 1 year from the application of the leave of absence. Taking leave of absence is available for up to 3 years during the whole school year. (Transfer students can take leave of absence for up to 2 years)

5) After the expiration of the applied period, if you don’t extend your leave of absence nor return to school, you will be “expelled due to the expiration of leave of absence”.

※ The class delivery method of the 2021 Fall semester will be decided later.

5. How to Cancel the Application

1) Cancellation during the Application Period : Cancel in the Web Information System

2) Cancellation after the Period : Submit the Application Form for Cancellation (refer to the Attachment 3) to globalhufs@gmail.com (※ Cancellation is available until the starting date of the semester)
