아프리카개발은행그룹의 아시아대표사무소와 거시경제 정책, 예측 및 연구 부서는 오는 2022년 10월 21일 아시아 청중을 대상으로 한 <2022 아프리카 경제전망 보고서(AEO)> 온라인 발표회를 온라인으로 주최합니다. 

아프리카 경제전망 보고서는 경제 정보, 정책 대화 및 운영 효율성을 위한 아프리카개발은행의 주력 보고서이며, 2022년도의 보고서 주제인 “아프리카의 기후 회복력 및 정의로운 에너지 전환 지원”은 탄소중립 전략에 따른 아프리카의 기후 회복력과 에너지 전환이라는 시급한 문제에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 이는 기후 변화에 가장 취약한 대륙 중 하나인 아프리카와 아시아에서 특히 중요한 주제로, 보고서는 기후 회복력을 강화하고 정당한 에너지 전환을 보장하기 위한 방안들을 다루며, 기후 변화 토의에 참여하는 모든 주체에게 체계적인 정책 권장 사항을 제안합니다. 또한, 아프리카를 위해 더 많은 기후 재정을 유치하고 동원하기 위한 혁신적 전략과 방안에 대해 논의합니다.

아프리카개발은행의 수석 이코노미스트이자 경제 거버넌스 및 지식관리국 부총재 Kevin Chika Urama 교수가 <2022 아프리카 경제전망 보고서>의 발표를 할 예정입니다.

Webinar: Presentation of African Economic Outlook 2022 to Asian Audiences 

What:      Presentation of the African Development Bank African Economic Outlook 2022: Supporting Climate Resilience and a Just Energy Transition in Africa to Asian Audiences

The Asia External Representation Office (PEXT) and Macroeconomic Policy, Forecasting and Research Department (ECMR) of the African Development Bank Group will co-organize a webinar to present the African Economic Outlook (AEO) 2022 to Asian Audiences on 21 October 2022. The African Economic Outlook is the Bank’s premier flagship report that serves as a tool for economic intelligence, policy dialogue, and operational effectiveness. 

The theme for the 2022 report: “Supporting Climate Resilience and a Just Energy Transition in Africa,” focuses on the urgent issue of climate resilience and energy transition in Africa under the net-zero carbon strategy. The topic is particularly important for both Africa and Asia, which are considered to be two of the most vulnerable continents to climate change. The report discusses potential pathways to strengthening climate resilience and ensuring a just energy transition in Africa and proposes programmatic policy recommendations to all actors intervening in the climate change debate. It further discusses innovative strategies and instruments to attract and mobilize more climate finance for the continent. 

Professor Kevin Chika Urama, Acting Chief Economist and Vice President for Economic Governance and Knowledge Management, will present the African Economic Outlook 2022 to Asian thought audiences. 

The webinar will be held mainly in English. Simultaneous interpretation services in French, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean will be available.
