Resilience: Recovery in the Post-Pandemic World

Many countries around the world, despite the initial shock of the Covid-19 pandemic,
have shown significant resilience, bouncing back faster than expected. However,
individual nations and organizations are encountering difficulties in coping with the
recovery due to inflations, supply chain disruptions, and workforce unavailability.

Given the rapidly changing domestic and international circumstances in the post-
pandemic world, the proposed theme of the 2022 CAAS Symposium held at HUFS is

‘Resilience: Recovery in the Post-Pandemic World’. Resilience comes in many
forms and will likely become a higher strategic priority for the public and private
sectors alike. The symposium will explore how various stakeholders of society
recognize and instill resilience at local, national, and international levels in the context
of the African and Asian regions. We welcome papers from a wide variety of
interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives that could provide insights and a better
understanding of how resilience in the post-Covid world could be achieved.
