On February 27, 2023 (Monday), HUFS held its Entrance Ceremony to mark the official entry of new students for 2023 both on the Seoul Campus and Global Campus. All first-year admitted students and their parents were invited to the ceremony of their respective campus.

Held offline and presided over by the Dean of Student Affairs & Human Resource Development, the event kicked off with congratulatory performances by senior students and celebratory video messages from first-year students. The program included the march of the HUFS color guard, a salute to the national flag, the introduction of distinguished guests, the declaration of admission to HUFS, oath-taking by freshmen, congratulatory speeches by HUFS President Park Jeong-Woon and President Yang In-Jib of the HUFS Alumni Association, and the singing of the HUFS song.

Held in person for the first time in four years since 2019, the Entrance Ceremony was even more meaningful for this year’s freshman students, who were heavily affected by COVID-19 during high school, and also instilled a sense of pride and affiliation as members of the HUFS community.
