• 유럽학입문 / Introduction to European Studies
- 유럽연합 초심자를 위한 입문과정으로서 유럽연합에 관한 기초지식함양 및 유럽 개별 국가들의 역사, 경제, 사회문화 전반에 걸친 개관에 대하여 배운다.
- This course aims at offering: - the basic knowledge about the creation, development, and integration process of the European Union - historical, economic, socio-cultural overview of respective European countries.
• 영화로 보는 유럽 사회와 문화 / European Society and Culture in Movies
- 영화를 매개로 하여, 현대 유럽의 주요 사건들과 사회 문화적 특징을 살피며, 현대 유럽의 특징을 입체적으로 이해하고 설명하는 능력을 함양하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
• 유럽속의 K-Culture / K-Culture inside Europe
- 한류는 일부 지역에서의 작은 흐름을 넘어서 특별한 현상이 아닌 일반적인 소비 현상으로 자리잡아 가고 있다. 인터넷, SNS 등 디지털로드를 따라 K-Pop 등 대중예술로 상징되는 한류를 뛰어넘어 순수예술, 의식주, 사회운영 시스템 등 한국문화(K-Culture) 전반이 글로벌 시장으로 확산되고 있다. 본 강의에서는 한류에 대한 이론적 이해를 바탕으로 유럽 속에서 발견되는 한류의 모습들과 그 특징 등을 살펴보고자 한다.
• 한국과 유럽의 관계와 미래 / Prospect of Korea-Europe Relations
- 경제 및 통상협력을 바탕으로 정치와 국제영역 등 광범위한 분야에서 긴밀한 관계를 발전시키고 있는 한국과 유럽연합의 양자관계와 미래에 대해서 다룬다.
- This course covers the bilateral relationship and future of Korea and the European Union, which are developing close ties in a wide range of areas, including politics and international territory, based on economic and trade cooperation.
• 유럽의디지털정책과거버넌스 / European Digital Policy and Governance
- 유럽디지털정책과 거버넌스는 유럽연합 정책결정과정을 포함하여, 최근 4차 산업혁명의 내용과 관련한 다양한 세부정책에 대해서 논의하도록 한다. 특히, 디지털경제에서의 플랫폼, 데이터, 인공지능에 대한 문제를 정책과 거버넌스의 측면에서 논의하는 것을 학습목표로 한다.
- This course aims to discuss the various EU policies on the fourth industrial revolution, including platform, data and AI. In particular, this course provides the background of the EU policymaking system and framework.
• 중동부유럽시민권과문화정치 / Central and Eastern European Citizenship Model and Culture Centered Politics
- This course is located in the field of social sciences/political philosophy that deepens the reflection on the Central and Eastern European citizenship model (e.g., Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia), particularly through exploring its ideological and cultural evolution in the twentieth century. In other words, it aims to contribute to the dissemination of the European citizenship studies enabling the understanding of the ideological/cultural narratives which formed the basis of modern CEE political and civic community. The part of the course argument is that the CEE model of civic sphere as it emerged after the period of its formation was marked by a strong reliance on the intelligentsia’s ethos and practices (though in varying degrees in selected countries).
• 중동부 유럽 이슈 세미나 / Seminar on Central and Eastern Europe Issues
- 2004년 이후 EU에 가입한 11개 중동부유럽 국가의 도전과 위기를 살피고, 개별 국가가 처한 위기와 도전, 이를 극복하기 위한 노력을 특정 이슈를 통해 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
• Soft Power로서의 EU / EU as a Soft Power
- 본 과목은 국제정치행위자로서 규범권력(normative power) 개념에 따른 Soft Power 로서의 유럽연합의 다양한 역할과 위상을 이해하기 위한 강좌이다.
- This course aims to understand the various roles and status of the European Union as a Soft Power under the concept of normative power as an international political actor.
• 유럽연합의경제정책과유로존 / The EU's Economic Policy and the Eurozone
- 유럽연합 초심자를 위한 입문과정으로서 유럽연합에 관한 기초지식함양 및 유럽 개별 국가들의 역사, 경제, 사회문화 전반에 걸친 개관에 대하여 배운다.

• 유럽의 극지정책 세미나 / Seminar on the European Arctic Policy
- 지구 온난화로 극지 지역들에 대한 접근성이 점점 수월해지며 극지 지역 국가들의 그 지역 개발에 관한 정책적 관심과 경제적 이익에 대한 기대가 점점 커지고 있다.
본 강좌는 극지 지역인 북극 지역에 대한 유럽연합 그리고 유럽의 북극권 회원국들이 시행하고 있는 다양한 정책 영역 별 정책 시행 현황과 주요 사안들을 학습함으로써 향후 그 정책 방향들에 대한 전망을 모색해 본다. 본 강좌는 이러한 학습 과정을 통해 북극 지역에 대한 개발 증대로 발생할 수 있는 경제적 기회와 관심에 대한 유럽학 학습자의 관점을 발전시키는 데 주요 목적을 둔다.
• 유럽의패션과디자인산업 / Fashion and Design Industries in Europe
- 유럽의 패션과 디자인 산업은 유럽의 문화유산과 전문성을 대표한다. EU 시민들 중 패션 및 디자인 밸류 체인에 직접 고용된 500만 명, 고급 산업에 고용된 100만 명 이상이며, 이러한 활동은 EU 경제에 중요한 기여를 하고 있다. 패션과 디자인 산업은 유럽에서 가장 활기차고 창의적인 분야 중 하나이다. 그들은 수백만 명의 사람들의 일상 속에 존재하고 문화, 창조성, 혁신, 장인정신과 같은 유럽적 가치의 대사 역할을 하는 패션과 디자인 산업에 관해 공부한다.
- The fashion and high-end industries represent European cultural heritage and expertise. With 5 million people directly employed in the fashion value chain and over 1 million people employed in the highend industries, these activities provide an important contribution to the EU economy. The fashion and design industry is one of the most vibrant and creative sectors in Europe. They study the fashion and design industries that exist in the daily lives of millions of people and serve as ambassadors of European values such as culture, creativity, innovation and craftsmanship.
• 지역협력기구와 중동부 유럽 / Regional Cooperation Organization and Central Eastern Europe
- 2004년 이후 EU에 가입한 중동부유럽 국가를 중심으로 이들 국가의 전반적인 상황을 살펴본다. EU 가입은 한편에서는 신규 가입국들에게 가장 중요한 목표였지만 동시에 이에 대한 반발도 나타나고 있다. 본 강의에서는 이러한 측면에서 지역협력 중심의 독자 세력화를 살펴본다.
• 유럽의 분쟁과 방위산업의 진화 / The Conflicts and Evolution of Defense Industry in Europe : Conflicts and Integration
- 본 강의는 궁극적으로 강의를 통해 전달된 지식을 활용하여 수강생 본인의 주장을 체계적이고 논리적으로 전달하는 역량을 갖추는 것을 목표로 삼고 있다. 이에 따라, 수강생은 강의자가 전달하는 지식을 ‘응용’하고 ‘가공’하여, 내면화하려는 노력이 요구된다. 이를 위해, 강의자는 지식전달과 함께, 효과적인 토론법, 그리고 체계적인 글쓰기 방법을 모든 주차에 걸쳐 수강생에게 전달한다.
곧, 본 강의를 통해 수강생은 졸업 이후에도 효과적인 공개면접과 그룹면접에 대비할 수 있는 토론능력을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 실무를 위한 기초적인 문서작성법 등에 대해서도 공부할 기회를 갖는다.
• 발트3국의 문화사회적 변천과 현재 지역 현안 연구 / Cultural and Social Changes in the Baltic Countries and a Study on Current Regional Issues
- 발트3국은 유럽연합 내에서 거의 알려지지 않은 유일한 지역군이다. 이 지역은 1991년까지 소련의 지배를 받았음에도 불구하고 다른 CIS와는 달리 유럽엽합 가입을 위해 총력을 가했으며 현재는 유럽의 개발도상국에게 귀감이 되는 작지만 튼실하고 영향력 있는 국가로 성장하였다. 그러나 한국에서는 이와 관련된 학과나 강좌가 전무하고 학문계에서도 이 지역에 대한 관심을 그다지 높지 않다.
이 강의는 발트3국을 역사, 지리, 문화. 정치, 사회 등 총제적인 관점에서 접근 하려고 하며 이 지역에 대한 폭넓고 전문적인 지식을 제공하고자 한다.
• EU경쟁법과정책 / EU Competition Law and Policy
- This course explores various competition law issues in the global market. The main objective of the course is
to introduce legal and economic theories for market competition, including online platforms,algorithms and data privacy.
This class will explain competition law and policy from a comparative perspective. The course provides various ideas
in competition laws that are important for the implementations of economic regulations.
In particular, we will discuss hotly debated areas and cases of competition law in the class.
• 유럽과동북아시아:글로벌이슈별이해 / Europe and Northeast Asia: Global Issues
- This course has its purpose on finding the common points of Europe and Northeast Asia and narrowing down
the gap in between by analyzing several ongoing global issues, as two regions are having geographic, cultural,
and emotional distances.
In particular, it aims to promote the recognition on ‘building the sympathy on commons and respects on differences’
between two continents as we access to Europe and Northeast Asia’s circumstances under the international
phenomenon so-called the nationalism, extremism, and individualism since the Corona Pandemic.
• 유럽의위기와전략적대응/ The Emerging Crisis and Strategic Response of Europe
- 본 강의에서는 현대 유럽이 직면하고 있는 안보위기와 전략적 대응에 대해 살펴본다. 특히 본 강의는 국제관계학을 중심으로 우크라이나 사태, 북극항로와 신냉전 등 유럽의 안보위기 발생 배경과 대응을 살펴보며, 향후 발생 가능할 문제들에 대해서도 고민해본다. 이를 위해 본 강의는 전반부 강의를 통해 각 사례를 바라볼 수 있는 이론적 토대를 마련하고, 후반부 강의에서는 실제 사례에 적용해보는 기회를 갖는다.
