The standard courses are for foreigners and overseas Koreans living in Korea. There are 12 to 15 students per class with 10 weeks of class per semester for 4 hours a day (approximately 200 hours per 10-week term). Classes are held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but depending on the circumstances, it may be opened in the afternoon. Regular courses are divided into 6 levels and in order to successfully complete a level, students must pass a final exam and cannot be absent for more than 1/5 of the course, i.e. students must attend at least 40 days of instruction.

Intermediate | Level 3 | You can expand basic vocabulary and grammar from active participation through conversations and oral presentations, mastery of both honorific and informal speech You also have various opportunities to speak with native Koreans through activities, such as interviews and surveys. |
Level 4 | You can practice specialized terms and expressions used in various fields of Korean society. It provides more discussion-based classes and the opportunities to familiarize with practical Korean by watching TV dramas, discussing commercials and reading newspaper articles. | |
Advanced | Level 5 | It is transitional course between intermediate and advanced level. You will study Korean politics, economy, society and culture and learn the differences between written and spoken Korean, and the appropriate use of official and unofficial expressions. |
Level 6 | You can review of Korean grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing. Also, you can study Korean history, literature, culture, economy, politics, etc through discussion classes, Research and presentations on individually-selected projects. | |
Korean Interpreting and Translating Course | Based on abilities to communicate fluently in Korean, you develop interpreting and translating skills of your native language and Korean language. In depth studies regarding each abilities of Korean language and Korean politics, economy, society, and culture will be held. You can also practice training interpreting and translating skills. |
