Interdisciplinary Seminar on European Integration Studies This seminar course is supported by the European Union under the programme of Jean Monnet Chair. Main purpose is given to better and deeper understanding as to European integration studies by way of interdisciplinary approach. To meet this target, some sessions are run by team-taught method with scholars from diverse disciplines. Students are invited to prepare an individual project using interdisciplinary methods. 3 3 REQ

Seminar on Korea-EU Relations This seminar Course shall be managed by Jean Monnet Chair programme. Recently professor of the course was awarded as a chair by the European Union. Some sessions might be given through team-taught method, inviting external figures such from MOFA, KIEP etc. 
In 2018 Korea and the EU commemorated 55 years of diplomatic ties since its inception back in 1963. This seminar course intends to offer understanding the relations between Korea and the EU. Recently it made a conclusion of the Korea-EU FTA and upgrading Framework of Cooperation is terminated, which are eventually incorporated into the form of strategic partnership between the two parties. Students are invited to this course with active participation and individual research project is highly appreciated.

Economics of European Countries This lecture is aiming at enhancing participants' basic understanding of the process of economic development as well as the contemporary economic situations in the European countries, for both member and non-member countries of European Union. 
To achieve these studying goals, this lecture starts with analyzing the paths of economic development and the mainstreams of economic policy trends of the European countries as well as Europe as a whole in the course of European integration after the World War II. 
After that, the lecture focuses on the changing patterns of economic policies of European countries as Member States of European Union, in the context of European economy as well as the world economy as a whole.

Seminar on EU Economy This course focuses on economic policies of the EU and its Member States and current issues on European affairs. The main purpose of this course is to help students to gain broad knowledge on the European integration and its current entity, European Union. This course does not necessarily aim to cultivate an academic scholar but provide an wide range of knowledge on European affairs and international economics. With that purpose, the course has two objectives: 1) to provide students with relevant expertise on European integration especially on institutional and economic aspect. 2) to improve ability of student to frame and analyze economic policy in coherent fashion. 3 3

European Economic Integration This course is aimed at enhancing participants' basic understanding of the process of economic and monetary integration of Europe and also at providing both theoretical and empirical insights into the economic rationale of such integration processes. 3 3

A Seminar on EU Politics This seminar is designed to examine theoretical as well as practical issues in European integration with special focus on the dynamics of europeanisation of member states' domestic politics and the current debates in Europe on the directions of political and institutional reform of the EU system. 3 3

Eurozone Financial Crisis and EU Public Policy This course studies the impact of the European economic crisis on various EU and member state public policies. In the first place, European economic responses to the crisis—especially monetary policy by the ECB (European Central Bank)—were a form a public policy. Secondly, the economic crisis has led to budget pressures, which in turn means less financing available for policy implementation. Lastly, the economic crisis has led many Europeans to experience a lack of confidence in European political decision-making and economic management; consequently, they are reluctant to support European public policy priorities. 3 3

EU-East Asia Relations The course is aimed at basic-level students in the fields of international relations and the external relations of the EU with a particular focus on EU's changing relationships with East Asia. The main focus of the seminar is placed upon the dynamics of the EU's evolving common Policy towards East Asia and the characteristic features of the rising regionalism(s) and multilateralism in the region. We will take a closer look at the increasingly interlinked nature of EU-East Asia relations in the contemporary period. 3 3

The European Union and the World In this course we will examine many of the aspects of the politics, economics, and foreign policy of the European Union and its member states (we will focus on Germany, France, and Great Britain). We will consider the interests, institutions, and policies of the EU and its member states both in terms of intra-European relations and also in terms of how European politics, economics, and foreign policy are relevant to the rest of the world. 3 3

European Industry and Commercial Policy The main purpose of this course is to help students to gain specific knowledge on the EU's trade policy and current trade issues, as well as industrial policies initiated at European and national levels. 
With this purpose, this course has two objectives. 
First, it aims to provide students with knowledge on trade and industrial policies of the EU. Its trade policy, termed as Common Commercial Policy, belongs to the competences of the EU from the beginning of the European Communities. Since the recent trade policy increasingly covers more extended issues, such as service, regulations, competition and government procurement, the coverage of EU's trade policy has been widen. In addition, the EU initiated various industrial strategies in coordination with its Member States. 
Second, this course intends to improve ability of student to frame and analyze economic policy in coherent fashion. With this objective, students will be invited to read papers with instructor and present them in relevant way.

Immigration and Social Change in Europe International migration has a long history as with human history. in this course, professor will explore theoretical and practical information regarding migration and social change. Individual project is highly appreciated and will be a main source of evaluation via term paper writing. Social Structure and Social Change in CEECs The purpose of this course is to grasp the social structures and processes of social change in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and induce correct understanding and interest about Central and Eastern Europe escaped from previous Western-tendentious views. 3 3  
유럽경제와법 European Economic Law This course will cover the current issues in the legal and economic system in the EU. It will explore the certain sectors in EU law, such as competition law and policy, free movement of goods and services, and company law. 3 3

Seminar on Society and Culture of CEECs) This course will study social change in present-day Central and Eastern Europe at different levels of analysis with the aim of understanding the social and cultural characteristics of this region. Special consideration will be given to how much the societies of Central and Eastern Europe are converging with - and still different from - those of Western Europe. 3 3
