전공안내

중국어는 중국 대륙을 위시하여 대만, 싱가포르 및 기타 동남아 국가의 화교 사회에서 널리 사용되는 언어이다.그 사용인구가 전 세계적으로 가장 많으며 UN에서 공식언어로 지정된 국제 공용어의 하나이다. 우리나라는 중국과 오랜 역사를 통하여 다방면의 교류를 진행하여 왔던 바, 문화와 언어 등 많은 분야에서 적지 않은 영향을 받았다. 비록 금세기 중엽부터 중국 대륙과 수십년간 단절의 역사가 있었지만, 1992년 국교가 정상화된 이래 한중교류는 새로운 역사의 장을 열게 되었다. 따라서 국제화와 정보화의 흐름에 자주적,능동적으로 대처하기 위하여 우리는 각 분야에 걸쳐 많은 중국어 전문인력을 필요로 한다.

 

이러한 시대적 요구에 부응하고자 국가적으로 고등학교 과정의 중국어 교육의 수요가 날로 증대되고 있고, 현재 중학교 과정에서도 중국어 교육과정이 점차 증설되고 있다. 중국어 교육수요의 증가로 말미암아 교사의 증원이 불가피한 과제로 대두되는 시점에서 본교에서는 중국어 교육의 이러한 양적 증가에 대비함과 동시에 현직교사의 질적 향상을 위하여 이론과 실천을 통해 중국어 교육의 효과 증대 방안을 모색하고 있다.  

 

본 전공은 현직 중국어교사나 교원 자격 취득을 목표로 하는 예비 중국어교사를 대상으로 차별화된 교육과정을 운영하고 있다.현직 중국어교사에게는 중국어교육 현장에 적용 응용할 수 있는 이론을 탐구하고 이를 수행할 수 있는 능력을 중점적으로 학습할 수 있도록 교원재교육과정을 운영한다. 교원자격 취득을 목표로 하는 예비 중국어교사에게는 중국어교육학을 비롯한 관련 학문 전반에 대하여 체계적인 지식을 학습하고 이를 중국어교육 현장에 실천할 수 있는 능력을 갖출 수 있도록 교원양성과정을 운영한다. 따라서 학생들은 자신의 학습 과정에 맞는 교육과정을 선택하여 이수할 수 있다.
