The East European and Balkan Institute was established to activate researches and promote a variety of studies of East Europe and the Balkan region. To do the purpose of establishment, it has focused on research, conference, policy discussion, and publishing. Besides, it has kept on communicating and cooperating with other educational research institutes and organizations worldwide. Through all sorts of activities, it is putting in efforts not only to increase national interests and social development but also to promote relationships between Korea and the region.
