1. Visa & Immigration

Foreign registration

Foreigners that are intending to stay in Korea for more than 90 days after entry are required to register at the local immigration office having jurisdiction over your place of sojourn within 90 days after the arrival in Korea.
Please note that you will be fined minimum 200 USD if you do not register within 90 days after entry to Korea.

Required documents

The following documents must be submitted to the local or district immigration office having jurisdiction over your place of sojourn:

– Passport
– Application form for foreigner registration
– 1 color photo (3cm x 4cm)
– Processing Fee: 10,000KW (Government Revenue Stamp)
– A Certificate of Enrollment

2. Health Care

Depending on the seriousness of symptoms few options are suggested to you:

– On-campus Health Center
– Private Clinique
– General hospital

General Hospitals

General hospitals, which are known for being crowded, often ask visitors to undergo unnecessary medical check-ups which are expensive and at times not covered by the insurance

1. Kyunghee University Hospital Kyunghee University Hospital is the nearest hospital to HUFS.

2. Korea University Hospital

Although Korea University Hospital is a bit far from HUFS it has an International Health Care Center where doctors and nurses are fluent in English and other languages.
