Graduation Requirements

Elective Subject 

1. Elective Subjects include the following items:

   1. Major courses credits taken in excess

       Ex.) If you complete 58 credits for your major, the 4 excess credit will be automatically included under elective subject.

   2. Liberal arts courses credits taken in excess 

       Ex.) If you complete 35 credits for liberal arts, the 3 excess credits will be automatically included under elective subject.

   3. Completion of major courses outside of your major will be included in elective subject.

 

      - For single major: with 54 credits for major and 32 credits for liberal arts guaranteed, and a total of 134 credits completed, the graduation requirement is satisfied.

      - The school system automatically handles these three situations, so you do not need to contact the school.



Required Liberal Arts Subject 

1. Required Liberal Arts Subject

   - From student number 2015xxxxx, for newly admitted international students 
      the required number of credits for liberal arts is 7 credits. 
Detailed information is as below

   1. Complete any 6 credits from the subject field ‘외국인을 위한 한국학’ (total of 3 courses)

   2. ‘Freshmen Seminar’ 1 credit

2. As the major requirement courses differ by department, please refer to graduation requirements for your college.


Double Major

1. Application category and note for Double Major

   (Admitted international students can graduate with a single major without applying for a double major)

   1. You can complete major courses before applying for a double major, and those credits will be automatically included as double major credits after you are successfully applied for the double major.

   2. If you cancel your double major, the completed credits for double major courses will be automatically included in the School system as elective subject credits.
   3. For students who have not applied for a double major during the application period (first year 2nd semester) may apply during the application changing period after their second year.
