Digital Language & Knowledge Contents Research Association (DICORA) was established in 2006 at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS). Its objective is to develop linguistic resources which include Electronic Dictionaries (DECO), Local-Grammar Graphs (LGG), Lexicon-Grammar Tables (LGT) and Text-Processing technologies (Korean UNITEX).

 

Linguistic resources play an essential role in information systems, and should provide information of all linguistic levels and be reusable in many applications.

 

The DICORA Research center has advanced the development of linguistic resources and the software capabilities through multiple research projects. The collaboration with academic organization, government and private industry has resulted in real world applications and fruitful research of Electronic Lexical Systems, Information Retrieval and Information Extraction Models driven on the basis of accurate linguistic resources.
