사회문화분과

 

 

중국사회는 황하문명에서 태동하여 한족(漢族)을 비롯한 다양한 족군(ethinic)으로 구성되었으며 차서격국(次序格局)이라는 전통적인 사회 관습을 지닌 형태로 발전되어 왔다.

근대시기 이후 중국사회는 중국혁명과 사회주의시기를 거치면서 다양한 계층과 구조로 분화되었고, 2000년대 이후 중국은 기존 사회주의의 변용, 시장경제의 성숙, 대중문화의 약진, 도시화의 추세, 전통문화의 부활, 글로벌 화인네트워크의 확장 등의 전방위적인 변화를 경험하고 있다.

중국학과 사회문화분과는 중국의 현대사회구조, 족군과 민족구성, 역사와 문명, 변강과 갈등요소, 환경과 관습, 현대문화의 특징, 계층과 분화현상, 대중문화와 문화콘텐츠, 지역 조사방법, 법률제도 연구 등 다양한 분야를 연구하고 논의한다.

21세기 중국은 소프트파워를 강조하는 강대국의 위상을 꿈꾸고 있다. 21세기 문화 강국을 정점으로 대국 반열에 올라서고자 하는 중국의 과거와 현재 그리고 미래를 배우는 중요한 시작을 한국외대 국제지역대학원 중국학과에서 함께하길 바란다.

1. China's Contemporary Social Structure 중국 현대사회 구조론

This course introduces students to social structure of contemporary China. It focuses on the special feature of Chinese society in a transitional period. The possibility and aspects of class friction are dealt with.

 

2. China's Contemporary Culture 중국 현대문화론

The aim of the course is to make students to understand trends of China's contemporary culture, For the purpose, necessary analytical tools and theoretical basis are introduced to students.

This course is designed to examine historical changes of China's society. It focuses on the sources and patterns of social changes since Ming dynasty and theirs influences on modern China.

 

8. Social History of China 중국 사회사 연구

The course is designed to deal with historical issues related to sociology of Chinese studies. To some extent, students will be exposed to cultural environment for social changes.

 

9. China's Legal System 중국의 법률제도 연구

The course deals with structure and features of contemporary China's legal system and related institutions. It also covers its impacts on the other sphere of China, including politics, economy, and social changes.
