How to Apply

Exchange Students

If you are nominated as an exchange students, you need to contact and apply through the international office at your home university.

   To make exchange application:

   1. Download the exchange program application form. The application form is available on "Application" section.
   2. Complete the application form.
   3. Attach a brief essay which include personal history and study plan, official transcript, evidence of English or Korean lanuage proficiency

      (if required) and other supporting documents
   4. Submit them to the international office at your univeristy. Please note that your application should be validated
       by the exchange coordinator.

※ We are not able to process incomplete application forms and assess applications submitted directly by students. 

Visiting Students

You may apply directly to HUFS for Study Abroad Program.

   To make direct application:

   1. Download the Study Abroad program application form on the "Application" section
   2. Complete the application form.
   3. Attach a recommendation letter from a university professor and other supporting documents described on the  application form.
   4. Forward the complete application form and other documents to:

        Global One-Stop Service Center

        Hankuk University of Foreign Studies
        270, Imun-Dong, Dongdaemun-Gu, Seoul
        130-791, South Korea

※ If you do not send all of the essential documents, we do not process your application.
   On the first week of your arrival in Korea, you will be able to make tuition payment.
